The RIGHTEOUS ROADTRIP

AS CINEMATOGRAPHER I WAS ASKED TO SHOOT THIS WONDERFULL STORY THAT REMEMBERS THE RIGHTEOUS AMONGST THE NATIONS.
THE CHALLENGE OF THIS SHOOT WAS THE TIMEFRAME WHERE EVERYTHING NEEDED TO HAPPEN AND THE FACT THAT WE WERE CONSTANTLY MOVING WITH NEW LOCATIONS IN REMOTE REGIONS OF EASTERN EUROPE EVERY DAY. THE COLD THE SHORT DAYLIGHT MOMENTS AND THE RUSH OF A ROADTRIP WHERE WE NEEDED TO VISIST ALOT OF PEOPLE IN A LIMITED TIMEFRAME.
THE RESULT IS A DOCUMENTARY BY ACADEMY AWARD WINNER VANESSA ROTH, WITH WHOM I HAD THE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. IT PREMIERED AT dances with films in LA.

Unicef: uninhabitable planet

UNICEF Young reporters document the situation of the climate crisis in their community. It is essential to hear from young people about the impact of climate change on their lives.
The challenge of this film was shooting in the blistering south sudan heat in the middle of local wars and huge floodings.

HmHS Brittanic expedition 2012 - Prothee expedition 2013.

Diving the hmhs brittanic and prothee expeditions was the start of my documentary career and still a story that holds a special place in my heart. Of course back in 2012-13 not my best work but it is one of the most key moments in my life as it started the path i am on right now.

Canon Workshops/ Speaking

Together with Rais de Weirdt I had the honor of teaching fellow photographers the art of hybrid shooting where they take their photography skill and turn it in to a moving picture. Sharing my passion with others and inspiring to be more creative every day is something i have a deep passion for.
